The National Annual Convention of All India Bal Vikas Alumni and Group I1I Students was held in Prashanthi Nilayam in the immediate divine presence of beloved Bhagawan on 6th and 7h January 2018. With the loving blessings of Bhagwan Baba, about 19 Alumni and 17 students of group Ill of Sri Sathya Sai Bal Vikas from Patiala Hoshiarpur, Ropar, Ludhiana and Pathankot got a golden opportunity to be part of this divine celebration at Prashanthi Nilayam.
The 2-day Convention was inaugurated on the morning of 6th Jan’18 at Poornachandra
Auditorium by Balvikas Band.This was followed by Veda chanting, experiences of
Alumni, presentations and dances by Bal Vikas alumni and 3″ group students from different
States. Punjab got the opportunity to perform the folk dance of Punjab (Giddha). In the evening session of 6th Jan’18 compendium of experiences by Sri Sathya Sai
Balvikas students based on the theme Sri Sathya Sai Balvikas the only ray of hope for
mankind was placed at Bhagawan’s lotus feet by Ms Kamala Pandya and Ms Neeta Khanna
and was released. The allumni Ms Vrinda from Jalandhar got the opportunity to share her experience in the compendium. Ms Radhika Soni was blessed to offer Aarti at the lotus feet of Bhagawan.
The Benediction Ceremony was held on 7th Jan’18. Ms.Saisha from Ludhiana and Mr Kamaljot Singh from Patiala got an opportunity to offer scroll of pledge at the lotus feet of Bhagawan.It was a golden moment for the Group II Balvikas students and those who were
recommended for Diploma, to take Benediction pledge in the Divine presence. Smt Vinita , Mahila Coordinator administered the pledge to the students that if admitted to Diploma of Sathya Sai Education, they will conduct themselves with upright character and righteousness. After this Ms Jeevika ,a four year old girl from Patiala was presented as a mascot by Mr Nimish Pandya,the All India President of Sri Sathya sai Organisation. About 37 students of Punjab from districts of Jalandhar, Gurdaspur, Patiala,Ludhiana, Ropar and Fazilka were awarded the Diploma certificates out of which 4 students were from the districts of Patiala
and Ludhiana , who took part in the Benediction ceremony. In the last session, there was a symposia conducted by Mr Gopi on the theme Sri Sathya Sai Balvikas –
the only ray of hope for mankind’. One of the six alumni selected for this event
Ms Radhika Soni from Ludhiana participated. All participants were blessed with a gift distributed by the central trust.
