In the aftermath of the floods where the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation did relentless work in the disaster struck valley,
the people of Kashmir connected to the organization very well. The Organization carried on with the spirit of
“Love All Serve All” by donating a mobile van and started helping the people of Budgam Distt.
We have done numerous camps since 2016 and also have adopted a school in Keshwari Village in Khan Sahib Tehsil. We
organized a trip of 115 children to Puttaparthi for an Educational Tour to integrate the youth of Kashmir with the rest of
India. The DGP Police flagged off the yatra from Jammu. They visited the Golden Temple in Amritsar, Dasuya in
Punjab, Chandigarh, where they met the Governor of Haryana. After doing a programme in Puttaparthi, the holy
precincts of Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, they visited Bangalore and later went to Agra and to Delhi. They did a
Programme in Delhi in which the Chief Guest was Dr. Karan Singh, the Erstwhile Maharaja of Kashmir, and also met
the Honorable Home Minister Rajnath Singh before going back to Jammu. This effort was made in the National Interest
“Unity in Diversity”.
Meetings were held by the SSSSO Officials and
ADGP Mr Sahay to further work Unitedly with the
J&K Police. The Vice President of SSSSO Punjab
planned a disaster training camp in Srinagar to train
Police personal to help people at the time of disaster.
The programme was a grand success.

a happy journey.
All the children paid their respects in the Golden Temple, part took langar and then went to see the historic
Jallianwalla Bagh where many Indians sacrificed there lives during the freedom struggle.
This journey was made to integrate Kashmir children with the rest of our country to show the children our
beautiful country and to seek blessings from our Sikh Gurus starting from the Golden Temple in Amritsar
where the leader of the contingent Mr Qureshi was honoured by the temple committee with a Siropa.
The next visit was to Chandigarh where they met the Governor of Haryana Captan Singh Solanki on 3rd Jan.
2018, who lovingly welcomed the children. He congratulated the SSSSO Punjab for organising this trip and said this
is a great initiative to integrate our country. The programme started and ended with the National Anthem
like any other state level function in the Governor house. After that there was a photograph session and
the honourable Governor had breakfast with all the children and SSSSO office bearers.

The last programme was a visit to meet the Home Minister Sh. Rajnath Singh at his residence in Delhi on 17th January 2018. He was very happy
to meet the children and the SSSSO Office bearers and spent time with the children and highly appreciated the work done by SSSSO Punjab
in showing the children the whole country and said I am grateful to SSSSO Punjab for doing service in Kashmir.
A number of medical camps have been held in Kashmir in
association with the J & K police to help the people in rural
Kashmir. These camps have been very effective.

and all other relief material
